Preparation

Hello everyone!

For those that will be keeping up with my blog posts thank you very much! I hope not to bore you with the adventures I will be having! ;)

I leave two weeks from tomorrow for San Diego where I will be picked up at the airport and cross the border into Baja California to spend the foreseeable future in Tijuana. These last two weeks will consist of packing, reading traveler safety information for Tijuana/Mexico in general, visiting with family and friends and general preparation. It still hasn't quite sunk in yet that the Lord blessed me with this opportunity, but I know it will once that flight takes off from Chicago on the 14th. Lord knows I'm eager! If you guys have any comments feel free to leave them here on my blog or feel free to shoot me a message on facebook or an email. I will try to get to your comments/questions as quickly as I am able. I do not yet know what my days will consist of and the consistency of my internet access, so I will keep you posted!

So thanks for the prayers and the support!

Prayer requests:
- That preparations would go well.
- That my last two weeks here in Milwaukee will be fruitful.
- Safe travels to Mexico for myself and for my partner Johanna who is flying from Las Vegas.

Intro

Hey guys,

This is going to be my space to ponder what God is doing in my life as I prepare for, leave for and serve in Tijuana, Mexico on a short term missions trip. I leave July 14th and I couldn't be more excited! I bought a one way ticket down there, and I am trusting that God has a plan for my life. Knowing that I am excited to go and serve but also to have God work in my own heart. I need Him just as much as the people I will come into contact with! So please keep me in your prayers and stay tuned for updates!

God bless,
Jordan
